Who we are
Tranxact is a Nigerian money app built by Tranxact Technologies Ltd, a company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission. It gives you one naira balance to receive, spend and get paid, all from your phone.
What we do
- Crypto in, naira out: get your own address for the coins you hold. When crypto arrives, it turns into naira in your balance automatically, at a rate you see upfront.
- Send money: free to anyone on Tranxact, and straight to any Nigerian bank account.
- Pay bills: airtime, data, electricity and TV in a few taps.
- Get paid: share a payment link and get paid in naira or crypto, by anyone.
Who is building it
Tranxact was founded by Bello Jaffar. Before there was an app, he was doing this by hand, helping people turn crypto into naira over WhatsApp since 2024. Tranxact is that service, rebuilt so anyone can use it without waiting on a person.
Why we are building it
For a lot of Nigerians, getting paid in crypto still means finding a buyer, agreeing a rate, waiting, and hoping the naira arrives. Paying a bill or sending money to family then means moving that money again somewhere else. It is slow, and you rarely know what it really cost you.
We think it should take one app and a few seconds, with the rate and every fee shown before you confirm.
What we aim to do
We want Tranxact to be where your money lives: the place you get paid, keep your balance and spend from, whether the money started as crypto or naira. Every new feature has to make that simpler, not more complicated.
How your money is handled
Bank transfers, bill payments and crypto conversion run through licensed and registered payment partners. Customers verify their identity with their BVN, and limits apply until they do. You can read more in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
